LOVE NEVER FAILS | Better Than Newlyweds | Stacy Hudson

We all know that Love is important…but I think we forget that it is also powerful.

You have probably heard 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 read before…it is often read at weddings (it was read at ours!  ) but take a minute and pray for God to open your eyes and heart and then read it again on your own and let it soak in.

 13 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not havelove, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails.

Verse 8 has always resonated with me. Love never fails. That is so firm…so sure. While going through life and all the trials and hard times that come our way… I need a reminder because even though it is so profound… I often forget.

My need for a reminder has lead to the creation of a leather bracelet hand stamped with “LOVE NEVER FAILS”. These will be for sale here soon! We hope it will serve as a constant reminder about the power of Love…. after all…God IS Love!
